Giving Back

Foundation Auction

The fundraising auction benefitting the American Farm Bureau Foundation for Agriculture will take place during the YF&R Leadership Conference. The online auction proceeds will benefit agricultural literacy across the country. We're looking forward to continuing the tradition of hosting this auction to support agricultural literacy and education.

Donating is easy! Visit our online auction website to donate your item(s) by March 1, 2024. The online auction bidding will begin on March 5, and conclude on March 11, 2024.

Please do not bring your donations to the conference. Please understand that this is an online auction, so you will be given the winners' information at the conclusion of the auction; we ask that you ship your item directly to the winner.

If you have any questions about the auction, please email Chris Young at ChrisY@fb.org. Thank you for making the Foundation's Online Auction a success!

Community Service

Giving back to the community is an important part of the YF&R Leadership Conference. In 2024, we will be donating books to the Ronald McDonald House of Omaha. Please bring new or gently used books to be donated to the house. Books can be donated for all ages. While the house is focused for kids 0-18, we also know that parents, aunts, uncles and friends also like to read to pass the time. Please bring the books to the Solutions Desk before Monday. All books will be donated on Monday afternoon.

On Saturday, during the morning coffee break, consider stopping by room 208 of the CHI Center to help pack 4,000 meals to be donated to a local nonprofit. This year we are partnering with The Outreach Program, a non-profit based out of Iowa, to package meals to be given back to the community. Come by for all or part of the meal packing.

Another opportunity to serve those who live in the Omaha area will take place Sunday during the morning coffee break. Stop by room 208 of the CHI Heath Center to assist in putting together hygiene kits that will be donated to a local homeless shelter.
