Welcome Conference First-Timers
If you are a new attendee, this session is for you! Representatives from the AFBF YF&R committee will welcome you warmly and guide you in making the most of your conference experience. Get networking tips, learn how to navigate the conference app and get suggestions to help make the most of your time in Omaha. The session will take place Friday, March 8 from 6:00-6:45 p.m. in room 214 of CHI Health Center Omaha.
Welcome Reception with Table Hosts
Join your fellow members at the Welcome Reception to network with attendees, hear Conference announcements and have some fun. The first 300 members will receive a free drink coupon for a bottle of water, can of soda or an adult beverage (if over 21). Make sure to visit the table hosts to receive a raffle ticket for your chance to win some great prizes. The reception will take place Friday, March 8 from 7:30-9:30 p.m. in the Grand Central Ballroom at the Hilton Omaha.
YF&R Fitness Fun Run*
Let’s get the heart pumping with a 5K Fun Run/Walk with fellow conference attendees. All are welcome to join as the group runs through the city. Please plan to meet up with the group a few minutes before 7:00 a.m. Saturday, March 9, so we can head out at the top of the hour. The group will meet at the front door of the Hilton Omaha.

AFA Alumni Coffee Meet Up
Calling all AFA alumni! Join together with AFA staff and fellow alumni for a coffee hour at YF&R Leadership Conference. Reconnect with peers, network with other alumni and hear about exciting opportunities to engage with AFA as a young professional in agriculture. On Saturday, March 9, 2024, from 10:15-11:00 am, gather at the high-top tables beside the beverage stations for this meetup and picture.
GO Team Coffee Meet Up
We are thrilled to extend an invitation to both current GO Team members and those interested in our mission to join us for an AFBF GO Team meet-up at the YF&R Leadership Conference. This gathering offers a prime opportunity to mingle, gain valuable insights and direct your questions to both AFBF staff and GO Teamers in attendance. Let's embrace this chance to build connections, engage in meaningful discussions and further our commitment to agriculture advocacy. On Sunday, March 10, 2024, from 10:15-11:00 am, gather at the high-top tables beside the beverage stations for this meetup.
Power Hours
Power Hours are a conference feature that will get you out of your seat, talking, networking and having fun. No more sitting and looking at PowerPoints late in the day! You can now close out your day of learning with an engaging Power Hour!
Appreciation Station
What better way to show your appreciation than sending a handwritten card. Take a few minutes during a beverage break or before heading to a session to stop by the Appreciate Station to write a thank you note or post card to send to someone who has helped you in your Farm Bureau and/or agriculture path. Maybe it’s your parents, the person who invited you to join your first Farm Bureau meeting, your county or state coordinator or that person you know you can always ask for that personal favor. All cards will be sent after the conference, so make sure you bring those addresses to Omaha.
YF&R Wearables
Like in years past, we will have YF&R wearables available for purchase in Omaha. Short-sleeved and long-sleeved t-shirts, hats and quarter-zips will be available. The wearables station will be located near registration and will be open Friday afternoon to Monday morning.
