Can I use placeholder names for people if we don't know who is attending yet?

Yes, you can use placeholder names to hold your state's spots. If you don't know who is attending yet, please use the same name for all spots with a number following the last name. For example, if you are registrering for four spots, use Jane Smith 1, Jane Smith 2, Jane Smith 3, etc. for all your spots. Once you know who will be attending, use the 'modify registration' button to go through and update the registration with the correct names and information.

Can I substitute a new member for someone who is registered but can no longer attend?

Yes. There are no additional charges to replace an attendee in your group with someone new. You'll need to use the 'Modify Registration' button and replace the existing information with the new name, contact info, etc. This will make sure we have accurate name badges for all attendees. If you need to change the email address associated with the registration, you will need to contact Tom Donnelly at tomd@fb.org.

Is there a hotel room block?

No. State Farm Bureaus should secure their own housing in DC or as close to Capitol Hill as desired. This provides flexibility to secure housing to fit your group’s size and budget needs. Attendees are asked to arrive the evening of Monday, June 12th for the welcome reception and to be prepared to begin early on Tuesday. Please see the Hotels page for options.

What if I need to cancel my registration? Will I get a refund?

If you need to cancel a registration, please email Tom Donnelly at tomd@fb.org. Once your cancellation is confirmed, we will refund your registration fees. Please note that we can only guarantee a full refund if your cancellation is received by May 31, 2023. After May 31, 2023 a cancellation fee may apply.
