Below you will find helpful details to assist you with planning for your trip to the workshop.
 
 
WEATHER
 
The weather in San Diego in early-September is usually sunny and comfortable at 75 degrees. 
 

GROUND TRANSPORTATION 

  • Hotel Shuttle: The San Diego Mission Bay Resort does not have an airport shuttle.
  • Light Rail: The Trolley does not go to the Airport. The closest Trolley Station is Old Town Trolley Station 4010 Twiggs St, San Diego, CA 92110. This is a convenient way to see the city.
  • Taxi Cab: The standard fare for a taxi cab ride one way to the hotel is $25.00 - $30.00
  • Super Shuttle: The standard fare for Super Shuttle ride one way to the hotel is $16.00 for one passenger. The shuttle does make multiple stops at other locations along the way.
  • UBER/LYFT Rideshare: Rideshare prices vary depending on if you are requesting a ride during peak traffic times. These rides typically run $12.00 - $14.00 one way.
PARKING
 
Parking at the San Diego Mission Bay Resort is extremely convenient. The discounted parking fee is $20 with the TFCA Group (a $20.00 cost savings).
 
 
AIRPORT INFORMATION
 
The San Diego Mission Bay Resort is located 5.8 miles / 12 – 15 minutes (without traffic) from the San Diego International Lindbergh Field Airport.
 
 
DRESS CODE
 
The dress code for this meeting is business casual. The room temperature within the meeting space is approximately 68 degrees, so wearing layers such as a sweater that can be easily removed if necessary is recommended. Comfortable walking shoes are always a must for attending sessions and exploring the resort.
 

PHONES AND ELECTRONIC DEVICES 

Please remember to silence the sound on your cellular phone and other electronic devices during the meetings as a courtesy to the group. 
 
SAFETY
 
The health and safety of TFCA meeting attendees is our number one priority. We are committed to doing our best to provide a safe in-person meeting experience.  Proof of vaccination and mask wearing are not required for attendance. You may want to pack a mask or two as local businesses may still require them when enjoying all that the San Diego area has to offer. During this meeting, we will adhere to all CDC recommendations and prevailing local guidelines on the matter.  San Diego COVID Guidelines.
