About the Course:

“This review covers everything you need to know in order to prepare for, take, and pass the four (4) sections of the LARE. I am asking that you bring your laptops as I will provide a USB with about “2 megs” of data (books, study material and sample tests) that will guide you in the right direction. The session will open with a segment that dispels common myths, misperceptions and outright mistruths about the exam. I will then proceed to help you develop an approach to success. How to prepare. What materials to use and how to use them. How to answer various item types. And, ultimately, how to PASS. The exam is not a test of knowledge or an exercise in memorization. About the Presenter:

Thomas Nieman has been involved with Landscape Architecture licensing for many years. He has been on the CLARB Board of Directors, was an ASLA Trustee, President of the KY Board of Landscape Architecture, and a Professor of Landscape Architecture at the University of Kentucky. He is a practicing Landscape Architect.
