Dress Code
The Grand Hotel as a resort, wants all guests to feel at ease and dress comfortably. During the day, casual resort clothing is appropriate. Prior to 6:30pm please no midriff baring tops, sweatpants or cut-off shorts for ladies. For gentleman no sleeveless shirts, sweatpants, or cut-off shorts.
Every evening at Grand Hotel is a special occasion. After 6:30pm dresses, skirts, blouses, dress sweaters and dress slacks for ladies are preferred, while gentleman are required to wear a suit coat, necktie and dress pants, no denim or shorts. This applies for all areas inside the hotel with the exception of the Cupola Bar. Children 12 years and older are expected to follow the same dress code as adults.
The remainder of the island venues are casual.
The weather is generally pleasing and warm. However this far north, be prepared, it can turn unexpectedly cool.
Itinerary
Early Birds arriving Thursday July 22, 2021
To extend your weekend you may wish to arrive Thursday instead of Friday. If you do please join us for the early bird dinner Thursday at 6:30 pm at the Jockey Club Restaurant just across the street from the hotel. Ask for the COPA table. The cost of this dinner will be paid by you individually.
Opening Reception & Dinner - Friday July 23, 2021
Join us from 6 pm - 7pm for our opening cocktail reception in the Cupola Bar on the 6the floor of the Grand Hotel. This is a cash bar. Dress code is resort casual. Here you can catch up with old friends and meet new ones. At 7pm promptly we will take a taxi to the Chalet in the Woods restaurant. The taxi to the Woods and return to the hotel is included in your registration. Please DO tip the taxi driver. The dinner and your libations will be paid for you individually.
Saturday July 24, 2021
We have no scheduled activities until dinner so that you have time to enjoy the ambiance of this unique island. Refer to the activities page for ideas.
The final Dinner will be in the Grand Hotel itself. We will meet at the Geranium bar for Cocktails from 5:30-6:30 pm. During the cocktail hour the photographer will be on the front porch just outside of the Geranium Bar. You may wish to slip out for a private photo as a souvenir. The group photo will be on the front steps of the hotel promptly at 6:40pm. Dinner will follow. Please follow the hotel dress code. Jacket, slacks an tie for gentleman an appropriate evening attire for the ladies. The dinner and your libations will be paid for you individually.

Adieu Until Next Year
We wish you all safe travels on your flight home. We hope you have made some new friends and renewed ties to existing friends. For that is truly what the Cirrus life is all about.
