If you are travelling to Australia, and transferring to either Virgin, Jetstar or Tiger please note, domestically these airlines have specific luggage allowances, and it is recommended that you check these with your travel agent when you book your flight as excess luggage charges can be high.
 
By Train
Great Southern Rail operates the Indian Pacific, The Ghan, The Overland and The Southern Spirit, which have services from Adelaide to Sydney, Melbourne, Perth, Darwin and Brisbane. The travel distances range from one to six nights between the various destinations and the Indian Pacific and The Ghan are both award-winning tourism experiences in themselves. To and From the Airport 

Taxi
A taxi rank is located directly out the front of T1 on the ground level. Concierges provide a safe environment and allocate taxis to passengers. There is a $2 levy added to fares for taxis leaving the airport. The Airport is just 7km from the City Centre and an average taxi fare will cost $19.00 each way.
 
 
Shuttle Bus - Skylink Adelaide
 The shuttle provides a regular scheduled bus service between Adelaide Airport and the Adelaide CBD. There are set-downs and pick-ups from most major city hotels. The shuttle service operates seven days a week and costs around $13.00 each way.
