The holidays are going to look different this year, thanks to the COVID-19 pandemic. For cancer patients who are “high risk” for COVID and their families this is even more challenging. After months of isolation, we are aching to connect with our families and honor our traditions.

This presentation will cover tips and tricks for how we can celebrate as safely as possible.

Topics include:

  • Understanding risk and strategies for staying safe
  • Communication strategies
  • Setting boundaries and limits
  • Managing expectations
  • Virtual options for celebrations

We will also have time for sharing some of our ideas for a “safer” holiday this year.

In addition, participants will learn about the resources available in their community and those provided by LLS. We encourage you to invite your caregiver and family members.
