Tanya Cooke

Cholmondeley Children’s Centre
Tanya leads a small team at Cholmondeley Children’s Centre to generate $1.4 million in fundraising income each year that supports over 500 vulnerable Canterbury children and their families. She has over 10 years of global experience working for children’s charities including Make-A-Wish Foundation, Child Cancer Foundation - NZ, Barnardos - UK and The Joshua Tree - UK. She is also a Board of Trustee for Graeme Dingle Foundation - Canterbury and Big Brothers Big Sisters New Zealand and is extremely passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of our tamariki.
 
Liz Gibbs

Perpetual Guardian
As the new head of philanthropy at Perpetual Guardian, Liz Gibbs brings significant experience from over 25 years of working in philanthropy, NGO management and governance into her stewardship of the company’s next phase of growth in philanthropy leadership. Ms Gibbs has worked with some of the best-known charities, from Save the Children International and Save the Children New Zealand to the Royal New Zealand Plunket Society. She previously served as chief executive for Save the Children New Zealand and Philanthropy New Zealand, and as head of foundation for Te Papa Tongarewa, and studied strategic leadership at Harvard Business School. Her current governance roles include deputy-chair of Unicef New Zealand and board member of the Mediaworks Foundation.
 
Emily Mason

Emily’s mission is supporting individuals and organisations to do good, better, by understanding what works, for whom, at what cost. She has honed this focus during more than 15 years in central government decision making roles, and now through her efforts in the private sector. Prior to her current role as Founder and Chief Executive at Impact Lab, Emily has worked in senior strategic and operational roles across central government.  In each role she has embedded practices and processes for measuring impact to drive improvement, drawing on the best of publicly available data. Her past experience includes the Ministry of Education, ACC,Statistics New Zealand and General Manager at the Social Investment Agency.
 
Sue McCabe

Sue has a diverse professional and volunteering background spanning public, not-for-profit and private sectors.  She has previously held not-for-profit Chief Executive roles, as well as public sector communication management positions. She is a co-founder and trustee of not-for-profit the Community Comms Collective; and co-founder and director of social enterprise The Good Registry.
