Esther Abram

Esther is a highly experienced leader in the environmental not for profit sector. She has a wide range of environmental interests and knowledge, including a two decade focus on climate change and energy. Since 2014 Esther has worked with the AEGN, supporting member collaborations, resource development and leading the organisation’s advocacy work. From 2010 Esther was the Executive Officer for Changemakers Australia, a groundbreaking organisation spearheading social change philanthropy. This work culminated in successful advocacy to establish the Charities Act 2013. Esther was the Director of Environment Victoria from 1996 – 2000 and inaugural CEO of the Moreland Energy Foundation from 2001 to 2005. Esther holds a Master of Arts from Melbourne University, a Graduate Diploma of Business and a Bachelor of Arts. 
 
Georgie Ferrari
Wellington Community Trust
Georgie Ferrari joined the Trust in August 2017.  Georgie has more than 25 years’ experience in the not-for-profit sector, working in the areas of youth, health, housing, disability, education and violence prevention in New Zealand, New South Wales and Victoria, Australia. Georgie has lived and worked in Melbourne for the last 15 years, and served as the Chief Executive, Officer for the Youth Affairs Council of Victoria for 14 years. Before moving to Australia, Georgie was the program manager for the YWCA of Wellington and Hutt Valley for five years. A true advocate for local communities and the vital work not for profit organisations do, Georgie is delighted to be working again in the vibrant Wellington region. Georgie holds a masters degree in policy and human service management from RMIT.  In her spare time Georgie enjoys riding her bike, cooking delicious food, walking in parks and going on adventures with her young son, Claude.

Sue has a diverse professional and volunteering background spanning public, not-for-profit and private sectors.  She has previously held not-for-profit Chief Executive roles, as well as public sector communication management positions. She is a co-founder and trustee of not-for-profit the Community Comms Collective; and co-founder and director of social enterprise The Good Registry.
