2013 Conference of Executives
Mastering Opportunity with Grace and Grits
February 23 - 26, 2013

The challenges facing the world today are vast and complicated.  While the focus is often on the broad impact of these challenges, we at Goodwill know that they affect individual people and families in every community. As leaders throughout the Goodwill enterprise, it is our responsibility, now more than ever, to provide support and opportunities for people to achieve economic stability and build strong families and vibrant communities.

Mastering Opportunities

Given the challenges of our current economic reality, leaders need to be on their game at all times in order to seize the opportunities presented and address challenges before they become problems. In order to be top performers, it is critical that today’s leaders are energized to propel their organizations through growth and change.

To successfully manage change, we must become agile leaders who tell powerful stories about the Goodwill enterprise. We also need to create safe cultures that improve employee retention and morale.  In Augusta, the 2013 Conference of Executives features new opportunities for attendees to engage in conversations around growing the Goodwill enterprise through mastering these opportunities.   In addition to the sessions we usually offer at the Conference of Executives the Helms College at Goodwill Industries of Middle Georgia and the CSRA offers conference attendees the opportunities to master the art of cooking and more through experiential classes.

This year we are fortunate to have the Augusta Masters as the backdrop for a compelling and engaging conference program.  In addition to the classes at Helms College, our hosts, Goodwill of Goodwill Industries of Middle Georgia and the CSRA, have put together a terrific line-up of activities to showcase their beautiful city.  Be sure to review the conference agenda for a complete listing of activities.
