How to get from Arlanda Airport to Stockholm
Arlanda Express: (see https://www.arlandaexpress.com/default.aspx?page=3 ) fastest way to get to town – trains leave from below the center of Arlanda terminal (Sky City) every 15 minutes and takes 20 minutes to the central railway station with no stops. Cost is about $30 USD compared to about $80 USD for a taxi.
Airport Bus: leaves every 15 minutes from in front of the international terminal (5) and costs about $15 USD.
Public Transportation System: (see http://sl.se/en/Visitor/Plan-your-journey/ ) To get to the conference site at the Royal Institute of Technology, take the red subway line ( stations are marked with a ‘T’ for tunnelbana) to the Tekniska Högskolan stop or any bus to Ostra station. There is frequent subway service from the Central railway station (where all trains and the Arlanda Express comes in) to the conference hotels (e.g. for the Arcadia Hotel take the red subway line to Tekniska Högskolan and exit at the West end of the platform for Korsbarsvagen – hotel is 150 meters from the exit).
