Jake is Managing Director & CEO at CoinFund, a blockchain-focused cryptofund founded nearly three years ago as one of the world’s very first diversified portfolios of cryptoassets, regarding cryptocurrencies and tokens as a radically new asset class. CoinFund invests and works with companies of all stages in accelerating cryptoeconomic business models. In 2018, CoinFund announced a strategic partnership with Venrock to help evaluate, invest, and accelerate companies in the blockchain space.

Jake has worked as an advisor to companies like Kik Interactive and YouNow, the first major VC-backed technology companies to take on blockchain-based business models, as well as decentralization-focused projects like Decentraland, Aragon, and Cent. Previously, Jake was Partner & CTO at Triton Research, a technical product manager and engineer at Amazon.com, and spent five years as a financial technologist at Highbridge Capital Management and as a quantitative researcher at Kohera. Jake has nine years of experience in pure and financial technology, a background in computer science and mathematics, and an avid interest in blockchain and financial technology.
 
Pei Chen

Pei Chen is transitioning into the role of Director at ConsenSys. ConsenSys is a global formation of technologists and entrepreneurs building the infrastructure, applications, and practices that enable a decentralized world.

Prior to Consensys, Pei served as a Senior Product Manager at Goldman Sachs, leading a team of business architects and software developers to design and deploy key technology solutions across for multiple business divisions. She has over eight years of experience in the financial industry with a proven ability to drive large-scale technology initiatives and influence organizational strategy.

Pei received a Master's degree in Quantitative Finance from Lehigh University and holds a Bachelors in Economics with a Minor in Technology Entrepreneurship from Zhejiang University.
 
Adam Cooke

Adam Cooke was born in Sydney Australia. He has degrees from the University of New South Wales, the University of New England, the University of Oxford, the University of London and City University.

After an early career in education he switched to law and gained experience in working for a law firm and in legal publishing. He is now Executive Director at Multilaw, a global network of law firms that has over 9,000 lawyers in 100 countries. He is based in the Multilaw Global Office in London but travels frequently throughout the world and is a frequent panelist, speaker and moderator at international legal conferences.

Alex has been practicing law in New York since 2003, and joined JunHe in 2011 after eight years at two leading U.S. law firms (White & Case; Vinson & Elkins). He also advises US clients on complying with China’s rapidly developing laws in areas such as anti-bribery, anti-monopoly, labor and employment, and national security. Richard Levin

Richard B. Levin is the Chair of the Financial Services Technology (FinTech) and Regulation Practice at Polsinelli PC. Richard also served as the General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer of two U.S. ATSs and a U.K. based multi-lateral trading facility (MTF). Richard began his career on Wall Street by serving as the General Counsel of one of the original Electronic Communications Networks (ECNs), and as Assistant General Counsel and Regulatory Affairs Officer of a leading investment bank.

He is a frequent speaker at conferences on regulatory and market structure issues and the co-author of the chapter on U.S. regulation of virtual currencies for the Handbook of Digital Currency and the chapter on regulation of digital asset platforms for the Handbook of Blockchain, Digital Finance and Inclusion both published by Elsevier. Richard is listed as one of twelve attorneys in the Chambers Global Spotlight on Blockchain and Cryptocurrencies.
