Georgie has more than 25 years’ experience in the not-for-profit sector, working in the areas of youth, health, housing, disability, education and violence prevention in New Zealand, New South Wales and Victoria, Australia. Before taking up the role of CEO at the Wellington Community Trust, Georgie lived and worked in Melbourne for 15 years, and served as the Chief Executive Officer for the Youth Affairs Council of Victoria for 14 years. Georgie holds a Masters degree in policy and human service management from RMIT.

Kate is an independent consultant for the philanthropy and community sector is involved in philanthropy personally through Te Muka Rau Charitable Trust. She is also a blogger on philanthropic and community issues and holds governance roles on a number of philanthropic trusts and social enterprises.

Kate’s previous roles include Executive Director of the Todd Foundation and Chair of Philanthropy NZ. Her background prior to working in philanthropy was in IT and entrepreneurship; highlights include co-founding one of NZ's first Internet Development companies, receiving the ASB Business Woman of the Year award and being awarded the NZ Order of Merit.

Christina was appointed Executive Director in 2015, after five years working for the Foundation as a Strategic Advisor. She holds a PhD in social psychology, and has 20 years’ experience in community, academic and government roles.
Tony Paine

Tony has over 30 years’ experience in not-for-profit leadership and management working in the health, social service and cultural sectors in New Zealand. He has been CEO of Philanthropy New Zealand since early 2017. Tony’s career began as a psychiatric social worker and includes work with the NZ AIDS Foundation, the Christchurch Methodist Mission. He has held the CEO position at the Comcare Trust, the Christchurch Arts Centre, Victim Support NZ and the New Zealand Red Cross. Tony served on the Board of Housing New Zealand Corporation for five years and has a Masters in Management Studies from Waikato University.

Kate Tindall Lum

Kate is the Special Projects Manager of The Tindall Foundation, managing key strategic initiatives and processing donations as a part of the donations team. A second generation Tindall family member, Kate has worked for the Foundation in various roles within donations, communications and administration. She first joined the team in 2006 after completing a Bachelor of Design. Kate has worked at Trust for London, Vodafone NZ Foundation, been a part of diverse campaigns and initiatives and undertaken philanthropic study at City University London. She is a board member of ADC, a NZ-based organisation which gives microfinance loans to individuals in Myanmar, One Percent Collective, a community of people who give 1% of their income to Kiwi-based causes; and The Funding Network, which hosts live crowdfunding events for social change organisations.
