After leaving the Army, John ran a broad range of investment portfolios as a Director of both Henderson Private Clients and then Rothschild Asset Management (RAM). Since leaving the City, he has helped charities monitor their fund managers, written the book ‘FT Guide to Investment Trusts', and been reporting on two of his 'live' and benchmarked investment trust portfolios in his monthly Investors Chronicle column - his website johnbaronportfolios.co.uk containing more portfolios and commentary.

Angus co-founded ArchOver in 2014, having seen the opportunity to use technology to match businesses requiring finance with investors seeking higher returns. Angus qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Price Waterhouse, and has held a number of senior directorships in AIM and TSX listed companies. Angus was CFO of OneClickHR PLC (1999 – 2006), which provided human resources software to small and medium sized enterprises. He was CFO of Synchronica (2006 – 2011) before becoming CEO (2011 – 2012). Synchronica originated and licensed software to the telecoms industry, and was acquired in 2012.

He holds the Chartered Institute of Securities and Investment (CISI) Investment Advice Diploma (Securities) qualification, the standard required for financial advisers under the Retail Distribution Review (RDR), and has passed the institute's top tier examinations in Financial Markets and Portfolio Construction Theory.

Roger is responsible for the Standard Life Private Equity Trust. He leads SL Capital’s fundraising and investor relations team and is responsible for the people management and personal development within the wider SL Capital team. Roger is a member of the investment committee and serves as an advisory board member on a number of leading European private equity funds. Prior to joining SL Capital in 2002, Roger worked for Goldman Sachs in their corporate finance team where he focused on private equity transactions. Roger has a MA (Hons) in Economics from the University of Cambridge and a MBA from the University of Edinburgh.
