At the conclusion of the symposium, the participants should be able to:

- Implement medical decision making to screen patients appropriately for drug abuse/addiction
- Utilize best practices and precautions for electro surgery to ensure patient and operator safety***
- Identify barriers to providing care, clarify and address barriers to optimize the care of the patients in a safe, cost effective, patient-centered manner
- Recognize, and manage complications and implement strategies to prevent injuries during laparoscopic surgeries
- Diagnose and manage the four most common breast feeding complications***
- Diagnose and manage pre-eclampsia using the updated ACOG guidelines
- Implement EBM to choose safest and most effective mode of induction of labor***
- Recognize possible risk factors for AFE and diagnose AFE in expeditious manner ***
- Diagnose pediatric and adolescent congenital abnormalities and refer pt. to the pediatric gynecologic surgeon
- Utilize EBM to manage post term pregnancy
- Manage post-operative wound care complications, using best practices and utilize most effective wound care products
