RE: Idea Share Cancellation and Farm Credit 100 Week Registration

Thank you to those of you who have attended Idea Share in the past or who are registered to attend in June. As a result of the recently announced strategic shift in direction for reputation management at the Farm Credit Council, we have elected to discontinue Idea Share and cancel this year’s meeting. We greatly regret any inconvenience this causes and those of you who already registered will receive a full refund.

Farm Credit 100 Week remains an important culminating element in recognizing our centennial. The reception at the Library of Congress and the Farm Credit 100 Fresh Perspectives luncheon offer rich opportunities for you to join us in Washington to commemorate this milestone. We encourage you all to register yourselves and your special guests – whether they be local Fresh Perspectives honorees, directors or other customers – to join us June 15 and 16 for this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.  We also hope that you will involve your honorees, directors, and customers in visits to congressional offices on Capitol Hill.

It’s still not too late to send your customer items for the Farm Credit Farmers’ Market. Contact Jenny Mesirow (Mesirow@fccouncil.com) if you would like suggestions on products or have questions about the Farmers’ Market.  We hope that every institution will send products for the market.

All Idea Share refunds will be processed by May 2, 2016. If you have questions about registering for Farm Credit 100 Week or the refund process, please contact Olga Zvinyatskovskaya at olga@fccouncil.com. If you have any questions about your hotel reservation, please contact Michele Lucas at (lucas@fccouncil.com).

The legacy of Idea Share is a system of communicators who are now better aligned, more collaborative and more effective than ever before. You are all true brand ambassadors for Farm Credit and I encourage you to maintain the spirit of engagement in cooperative communications as you continue to excel in your important role. I look forward to seeing you in Washington in June.
