Enter the Alternative Credit Intelligence European Performance Awards 2016

ENTRY RULES:


1. Inclusion:

Only funds with their management/advisory company or team based in the UK or Europe will be eligible for the Alternative Credit Intelligence European Performance Awards 2016.

The Entry Form will be sent to all managers and contacts on the Alternative Credit Intelligence database. Other interested managers can access the Entry Form here. As part of your entry you will need to provide your fund’s performance data. This must be submitted by the official performance data excel document, this can be download here.

• Funds interested in participating in the awards program must submit all information via the official Alternative Credit Intelligence European Performance Awards 2016 Entry Form. Please note that all funds must submit a completed Entry Form to be considered for the awards; incomplete information might lead to disqualification from the awards process. All questionnaires should be returned by Friday 23 September 2016.

The awards will be publicised internationally in the general and hedge fund media. All awards finalists will be honoured—and the winners announced at a dinner on Thursday 1 December 2016 at Plaisterers' Hall, London.

All winners will also be invited to be interviewed by HFMWeek. 

The deadline for inclusion is Friday 23 September 2016.

2. Criteria:

The Awards 2016 seek submissions in the following categories:

Asset backed
CLO specialist
Convertible arbitrage
Credit arbitrage strategy
Credit specialist
Direct lending fund
Distressed securities
Event driven – credit
Fixed income – corporate
Fund of hedge funds – credit
High yield fund
ILS strategy
Long/short credit
Merger arbitrage
Multi-strategy credit fund
Newcomer – credit
Special situations
Ucits – credit
Yield alternative
Management firm of the year (nominated)
Outstanding contribution (nominated)

Any fund satisfying the following criteria will be eligible for the Alternative Credit Intelligence European Performance Awards 2016:

Base of operations:

• Funds submitting in all categories must have their management/advisory company or team based in the UK or Europe and submit their USD share class.

Strategy:

• Funds submitting for any of the categories must trade/invest primarily - defined as at least 75% of portfolio over the last year in one or more of the 22 strategies described by the categories above.

Assets Under Management:

• No minimum asset size is required for the categories. Please submit the asset size in USD ending June 2016.

Track Record:

• Funds submitting for any of the categories must have a track record of 12 months ending with their June 2016 performance figures.

Nominated categories:

Please note that entries are not accepted for those categories marked ‘Nominated’. The shortlist for these categories will be compiled by a panel of industry experts.



3. Judging Decisions:

The judging panel will comprise representatives from Alternative Credit Intelligence, leading institutional and private investors and industry experts.

Each member of the judging panel will have an equal vote in choosing the winners in each category. Decisions should be unanimous, but a majority will suffice.

Judging decisions will be based on performance, qualitative information and structural criteria.

A shortlist of finalists for each category will be announced in October with the winners revealed on 1 December at Plaisterers' Hall, London. Please mark this date on your calendar
