A Message from the Conference Chairperson and Planning Committee

Welcome to our 2^nd National LGBTQ Health Symposium! We are excited to hold the meeting in Northern California, where we will have the opportunity to engage experts from the Bay Area as well as from throughout the nation.

The sessions will address a variety of topics relevant to our LGBTQ members, physicians and employees, as well to as our heterosexual and cisgender allies.

From the starting point of addressing issues in accessing care, the meeting will highlight preventive health issues specific to our LGBTQ patients. Breakout sessions will consist of topics including surgical issues, community engagement, allied health services, STIs and much more.

We hope that everyone will emerge from the meeting with a renewed energy and passion in providing high-quality and high-value care for all.
