Ignacio Abella is the Editor for In-House Counsel at Chambers and Partners. He holds a BA (Hons) in English from the Universidad de Oriente, Cuba. Since relocating to the UK, he has developed extensive experience in market research, legal publishing and social media. Ignacio devised, edited and helped launch Chambers Latin America, the first and leading publication in client-led intelligence about the Latin American legal market, currently in its 8th year. He currently runs the Chambers General Counsel Initiative, fostering key relationships with general counsel and international law firms, worldwide. He also runs the successful series of Chambers GC Seminars: global conversations with in-house counsel which address some of the most topical issues that legal practitioners face today.

Joseph Blum

Joe Blum joined Global Infrastructure Partners (GIP) in 2007 as a Partner and serves as General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer. He is also a member of the Investment and Operating Committees and manages the London office, where he is based. At GIP, Joe is responsible globally for all legal and regulatory matters, including appointing and supervising outside counsel on transactions and litigation matters; structuring and negotiating GIP’s investment funds; and ensuring compliance with SEC, FCA, ASIC and other regulatory bodies. Prior to joining GIP, Joe spent 21 years at Latham & Watkins where he was Co-Head of the Project Development and Finance Group in London. During his career, Joe represented sponsors, financial institutions and governments in structuring complex project development and finance transactions, joint ventures and privatizations in the energy, transport and water sectors. He has worked on infrastructure transactions throughout the Middle East, Europe, the former Soviet Union, Africa and the United States. From 1997 to 2002, he served as a member of Latham’s Executive Chairs Committee and was the Managing Partner of the London Office. Earlier in his career, Joe served as Special Assistant to the Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation in Washington, D.C. He holds a J.D. (cum laude) from the University of Michigan Law School and a BA (magna cum laude) from Wesleyan University.
 
Geoffrey Kittredge

Geoffrey Kittredge is a corporate partner based in the London office of Debevoise & Plimpton. He is the Co-Chair of the firm's European Private Equity Funds Group. Geoffrey focuses on private equity and investment fund formation and regularly represents a broad range of international private equity and other private investment funds and their sponsors, including leveraged buyout, mezzanine, real estate and secondaries funds, as well as funds of funds. Geoffrey is also a member of the EMPEA Legal & Regulatory Council and of the Legal and Technical Committee of the BVCA.

Zack Wilson serves as Group General Counsel for Impax Asset Management. He is also a non-Executive Director of Impax Funds (Ireland) plc. Prior to joining Impax in 2011, he was director and general counsel for the investment management group Development Capital Management. Previously he was corporate counsel for Telewest Global Inc. Zack qualified as a solicitor at the global law firm Norton Rose. He holds a Master of Arts in Jurisprudence from Oxford University.
