Rinaldo is currently Head of IT Risk & GRC at Commercial Bank of Dubai. Working on a CISO- equivalent position, his main responsibilities include synchronizing business requirements with the information security program, establishing and managing the Security Strategic Plan and the IT GRC framework. His achievements during his tenure at CBD include establishing the IT Security and IT GRC units, reviewing and designing security policies, developing IT risk assessment methodologies, leading the information security committee and building a compliance framework for the Bank.
Since 2005, Rinaldo is accountable for all aspects of IT risks and information security at Commercial Bank of Dubai, working as Unit Head in IT and Risk Management departments. His primary responsibilities involve continuous monitoring of the Bank's IT risk posture, coordination of all IT risk activities, proposing strategies and executing tactical plans to prevent threats and mitigate risks affecting the Bank.
Rinaldo has more than 15 years of experience in the IT and Information Security arenas, with a strong technical background and a track record of delivering complex projects.
