The North Shore excursion takes guests over the famous Lions Gate Bridge (built by the Guinness brewing family!) and up to Capilano Suspension Bridge and Grouse Mountain. Arriving to the top of Grouse Mountain by way of an aerial Skyride, breathtaking views will be seen on the fully narrated, 8-minute closed cabin gondola ride. Explore the attractions on the mountain, including the Wildlife Refuge featuring Grizzly Bears, Timber Wolves and raptors, or the Eye of the Wind, a working wind turbine and the only one in the world to feature a 360 degree public viewing pod. Next, visit the Capilano Suspension Bridge. Opened in 1889, the bridge is 230 feet above the Capilano River and is 450 feet across, connecting the two halves of the park. Guests will have time at leisure to explore the 6,000 acre park, which features local and natural displays, as well as Aboriginal folklore and art before the return trip to Vancouver via luxury motorcoach.
