Welcome to the Ozwater'22 reviewing portal. 

To begin reviewing, please log into the site using your email address and the password provided. Once logged in, you will need to click on 'Submissions' to view all the submissions under your selected theme(s).

Important Reminders
 - Once logged in, the portal shows all submissions under the selected themes, which have not been reviewed three times in total
 - As a reviewer, you are required to review a minimum of 5 abstracts. However the portal will still be open if you wish to continue

Before you start
  • Please carefully review the Submission Guide available on the Ozwater website before proceeding to the submission page
  • You must use a correct template to submit your abstract, case study or video pitch. Please click here to access the templates
 
How to create your account
  1. Click on the ’Login' above and create a new user account
  2. Complete the form and save
  3. Click on 'Submissions' and add new to submit your abstract
  4. You will receive an automated confirmation email once your submission has been successful. Otherwise you may also check under the Submissions tab to check the status.
 
*You can create multiple submissions under the same account. If you have any questions regarding your submissions, please email tokai@awa.asn.au.


 
Terms and Conditions for Submitting a Paper


By submitting to present at Ozwater’22, you agree to the Terms and Conditions below:

 
If accepted for a 20-minute Presentation
• That you will submit a full paper for inclusion in the conference proceedings if accepted by Monday, 7 February 2022
• A paid registration at a discounted speaker registration rate must be finalised by Monday, 7 February 2022 once your paper is accepted. This applies to all Ozwater’22 presenters and co-presenters.
• Headshot and 100-word biography to be provided by Monday, 7 February 2022
• PowerPoint presentation to be submitted by Wednesday, 20 April 2022 (to be included in the conference proceedings/applies to all Ozwater’22 presentation types)
• Revised full papers (*optional) to be submitted by Wednesday, 20 April 2022 (to be included in the conference proceedings online)
• That you confirm copyright ownership and originality of the paper and the work
• That you confirm that the paper has not been previously published in any other form and that the Australian Water Association will be granted permission to publish the paper – this must be confirmed at time of abstract submission. *does not apply to papers that have been presented at a conference or event hosted by AWA or published via AWA Water e-journal
• Be available to present during Ozwater’22 in Brisbane, Australia during 10 - 12 May 2022

If accepted for a 5-minute Presentation
• A paid registration at a discounted speaker registration rate must be finalised by Monday, 7 February 2022 once your paper is accepted. This applies to all Ozwater’22 presenters and co-presenters.
• Headshot and 100-word biography to be provided by Monday, 7 February 2022
• A1 Technical Poster Artwork to be submitted by Wednesday, 30 March 2022
• PowerPoint presentation to be submitted by Wednesday, 20 April 2022 (to be included in the conference proceedings/applies to all Ozwater’22 presentation types)
• That you confirm copyright ownership and originality of the paper and the work
• That you confirm that the paper has not been previously published in any other form and that the Australian Water Association will be granted permission to publish the paper – this must be confirmed at time of abstract submission. *does not apply to papers that have been presented at a conference or event hosted by AWA or published via AWA Water e-journal
• Be available to present during Ozwater’22 in Brisbane, Australia during 10 - 12 May 2022

Please do not submit an abstract if you are unable to comply with any of the above conditions.
 
Should your abstract/paper be accepted for presentation at Ozwater’22:
 

  • Notification of accepted abstracts will occur early November to the provided email address.
  • All accepted submissions will need to confirm via email that they agree to the conditions of presenting and accept a place in the Ozwater’22 program.
  • All Authors who present at an Australian Water Association conference or activity or publish in any of the Association's publications will be required to comply with Australian Water Association's Copyright Assignment Policy. These terms and conditions can be viewed by clicking here
