The Organising Committee has opened a call for abstracts for oral and poster presentations for the MRI 50th Anniversary Symposium Meeting to be held from 12-16 September 2016 in Kruger National Park, South Africa. Presenters (Oral/Poster) should carefully review the information below and then submit their abstract(s) via the online submission by the 1st of August 2016
Language: All abstracts must be submitted in English.
Abstract limit: To ensure maximum participation, each participant is allowed to present no more than two abstracts (e.g., one oral presentation and one poster presentation). There is no limit on the number of presentations for which an individual can be listed as a co-author.
Deadline: All abstracts must be submitted via this e-touches online system.
Evaluation process:
The Scientific Committee will review abstracts and inform authors with formal acceptance notices on the 11th of August 2016. All notifications will be sent to the email address provided with abstract submission. Submitted abstracts may be placed in a different session than the one to which it was submitted. Final decisions regarding placement of individual abstracts and sessions rests with the Committee.
The main evaluation criterion is:
Relevance to the overall aim of compiling a roadmap for future African mammal research.
Abstracts may submitted within one of the three main themes (indicated below) OR in the Open category. Papers addressing cross-cutting, topical issues or providing a synthesis of novel technologies with high research impact are encouraged.
