STUDENT WATER PRIZE 2023-24
This award aims to encourage and reward students for excellence in water-related studies and research, and provides a forum for students to display their academic excellence, innovation, and/or research findings to future employees, clients and the water industry.
Open to students and recent graduates of an Australian university or tertiary institute focused on water-related topics. Open to both members and non-members of AWA.

The winner from each state goes on to be a finalist in the national competition to present their project and be awarded in Ozwater'24 in May 2024.
Submission Criteria for this award:
• What is the relevance of your project to the water industry? (250 words)
• What sector/s of the water industry does your research benefit? (250 words)
• Outline key outcomes of your project (500 words).
• How will the outcomes of your research deliver innovation in the water sector? (500 words)
Items to accompany your submission:
• An abstract (max 500 words). Finalists are required to do a presentation rather than submit a full paper.
• Resume
• 3 x images to be used in awards presentation
• Optional video overview of the project (note: no score will be allocated to this video)
