Scholarship Application Process
 
 

Before you begin your submission, you must either log in or create a new profile. To create a profile, click the “Login” tab in the menu bar above. Click "New User" then complete the information requested.

Please Note: This information is not linked to your AGPA profile.
Once this is completed, this tab will display as “My Profile” in the menu bar.
 
Please note that after 30 minutes of inactivity, you will be automatically logged out of the system and the information you entered will be lost.
 

To begin your application, click "Applications" in the menu bar; then click “add new.” You will have the option to SAVE & RETURN (you can return and edit your submission) at any point during the process. When the application is finished then you can SAVE & SUBMIT. The scholarship application will be submitted when the "Save & Submit" button is clicked, at which point you will NOT be able to edit your application.

 

A. Early Decision Scholarship Application Deadline Is November 15, 2025, 11:59 PST

 
  1. Applications submitted by the deadline will receive priority consideration including for applicable endowed scholarships.
  2. Applications submitted after the deadline will be considered and will be awarded tuition support scholarships on a funds available basis; no endowed scholarship consideration is available after the deadline.
  3. Applications must be submitted electronically on this website with supporting materials in word and/or PDF format

 

B. Following are the required application items the Group Foundation for Advancing Mental Health Scholarship Committee must be in receipt of before being considered for a scholarship:
 
  1. Completed Scholarship Applicant Profile
  2. Completed AGPA Membership Application
  • Current or past AGPA members applying for scholarships must be in good standing to be considered for funds.
  • First time AGPA Membership Applicants DO NOT need to provide payment after completing the membership application. Complete the application up until payment & then exit the application.
  1. Current Curriculum Vitae/Resume
  2. Two (2) Letters of Recommendation
    • E.G. a Colleague, Faculty, Mentor, etc. This should be someone who is knowledgeable of your group experience, particularly as it relates to the scholarship(s) you are interested in and supports your attendance at AGPA Connect. 
  1. Letter of Introduction
    • Outline interest & reasons for attending AGPA Connect
    • Provide background on goals & focus in group therapy
    • Note experiences and interest relevant to scholarships you are interested in being considered for

 

C. Please do not submit your application until all required items have been uploaded. Applications missing any required documents will not be considered. Please do not put in any documents as placeholders for materials you do not currently have; only submit once the appropriate materials to be reviewed as part of your application are in place.  Please also insure that you have registered for AGPA Connect as a scholarship applicant (this will insure you will be able to make your event selections and you will be able to defer payment)
