IMPORTANT INFORMATION YOU SHOULD KNOW BEFORE SUBMITTING YOUR ABSTRACT:
NEW ABSTRACT SUBMISSION FORMAT
- Click on “LOGIN” (above in the dark blue banner). Create your profile by selecting “NEW USER".
- New user profiles are required for each meeting.
- Profiles are not linked to your ASABE membership
- Use an email that you will have access to through JULY.
- Navigate to the “SUBMISSIONS” tab, scroll down past the deadlines and other information, select “ADD NEW” to begin your abstract.
- Select the session topic from the drop-down list. All topics in the drop-down are considered oral and lightning sessions. For a full list of topics to choose from, see here.
- To ensure that you are scheduled for a POSTER SESSION, click the checkbox under “POSTER SESSION”.
- Oral sessions are not guaranteed (you may be in a lighting or poster session).
- Abstracts will be reviewed for quality, completion, significance, and originality. Complete a thorough abstract to safeguard against your presentation being placed in a session that is irrelevant or being rejected.
- Once your abstract is complete, use the “SAVE & SUBMIT” to enter. If you need to return later for edits, use the “SAVE & CONTINUE LATER” option.
- In March, notifications will be sent regarding the status of your submission. These will come from the session organizer and ASABE HQ. Please watch for these emails and expect to log back into this submission portal to finalize all edits and add the co-authors.
Please Note:
All presenters are required to attend the meeting in-person, there is not a virtual option.
Papers will be collected on this portal by the Early Bird deadline for the competitions that require them. However, they will not be added to the Technical Library until after the meeting. You will have the ability to submit your paper to the Technical Library until November 30. Presentation is mandatory for paper acceptance. Presenters marked as a no-show will not be accepted.
