PLEASE READ THESE INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE SUBMITTING YOUR ABSTRACT:

   1. Go to the LOGIN screen (above in the blue banner) and create your profile by selecting New User from the following screen.
         a. Profiles are not linked to your ASABE member information. You can select any password you’d like.
         b. Please try to use the same email that you will use for registration and ensure that you will have access to this email for notifications throughout the event timeframe. If you are an ASABE member, the email linked to your membership will provide the member discount to the meeting. Most will choose to use this email.
         c. Should you need more than yourself to have access to this submission, please have that author create a profile now and notify bell@asabe.org to link that person to your submission so that they may access it as well. After January 11, they will not have the ability to create a new profile, thus they will not have access to the submission.

   2. You are now ready to navigate to the SUBMISSIONS tab on the same blue banner above.
         a. Scroll down to see deadlines and instructions.
         b. Select ADD NEW to begin your abstract.
               i. If you want to submit a poster-select from the POSTER SESSIONS in the first drop-down menu under Technical Community. This will bring up another drop-down menu to provide a separate sub-list of the individual technical community poster sessions.  Select the most relevant technical sub-committee. This is broken up into two sections due to how long the list is. The first section is for all ASE, EOPD, ES, ESH, ITSC, and MS poster sessions. The second section is for NRES, PAFS, and PRS poster sessions.
ii. If you want to submit to an oral session, select from the technical community (example ASE in the first drop-down menu), then select the session that you would like your abstract considered for.
IMPORTANT-If you do not select the proper format now, your abstract may not be able to be considered for your desired format later. Be sure to select from POSTER SESSIONS if you want a poster. Oral presentations cannot be guaranteed.
         c. Finish your abstract by entering the title, abstract, and co-authors as indicated. Do not use all-caps.
         d. Save & Continue Later if you need to come back to finish or Save & Submit if you are done.

   3. You will be notified in March regarding the status of your abstract. All abstracts are subject to review. Expect communication from ASABE staff (bell@asabe.org) and the session organizer for the session that you are accepted into. This may or may not be the session that you submitted to. The session organizer has the authority to move submissions to create quality sessions to the best of their ability.

   4. The Call for Papers will open after notifications are sent in March. You will then see new instructions here on how to complete your submission and submit your paper if you wish to do so.  A paper is not required for presentation. You will use the same login information as for submitting your abstract.
