The International Conference is taking place in Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia.

The inauguration of the Conference will take place at University of Malaya, the host and partner university.

The day programme of the Conference will take place at Pullman Hotel, Kuala Lumpur Bangsar, Malaysia which is situated near the UM Campus. More detailed information will be provided in due course.

University of Malaya (UM) is Malaysia's oldest university and it is situated on a 922 acre (373.12 hectare) campus in the southwest of Kuala Lumpur, the capital of Malaysia. It is a government funded, comprehensive, research intensive university. UM has more than 21,000 students with a 1:1 ratio of undergraduate. With an academic staff strength of more than 1,910 of whom 1,410 hold PhDs and 365 possess Professional qualifications, we are able to cover almost all disciplines from the Arts, Sciences and Humanities. 
There are 17 faculties and 3 academic centres, 6 Research Clusters and more than 50 research centres. We are encouraged to conduct multidisciplinary research but our strength lies in the Life Sciences & Medicine, Engineering & Physical Science and Islamic & Social Sciences.

The campus lies within the heart of Kuala Lumpur. Created in 1905 (with roots in Singapore), it has alumni of almost 200,000. Among them renowned and illustrious personalities and leaders in various fields. 
The international student population (21 % are postgraduate students) come from more than 80 different countries. UM is very active in pursuing dual and joint degree programmes with partner universities. Currently, UM has Dual PhD programmes with 25 partner universities. The university also offers joint and double Master and Bachelor degrees with international partner universities such as the Kyoto University, Osaka University, National Cheng Kung University, University of Sydney, University of Nottingham, University of Liverpool and others.

UM researchers are in collaborative partnerships with more than 200 international institutions working on diverse topics from HIV-Aids, infectious diseases, biodiversity, nanotechnology to law, intellectual property, culture, religion, gender studies and poverty eradication studies.
