Getting from the Airport

Radisson Blu Scandinavia Hotel is situated in the Oslo city centre. Oslo Gardermoen Airport is located 47 kilometers from the hotel. Airport Rygge is located 66 km south-east of Oslo in Østfold county.

Bus

From Airport Oslo Gardemoen: the travel time from the Oslo Gardemoen Airport  is approximately 55 minutes by the Airport Express Coach, SAS Flybussen, which departs every 20 minutes throughout the day from the main entrance of the hotel. Guests at the hotel receive an exclusive 25% discount when traveling with the Airport Express Coach. All you have to do is show your hotel confirmation or receipt and you will get the discount from the driver.

From Airport Rygge: the Rygge-ekspressen bus service goes directly between Oslo Bus Terminal and Moss Airport Rygge (appr. 1 hour travel). The bus service corresponds with most international flights, as well as selected domestic flights.

The bus F11 Flybussekspressen travels between Rygge and Oslo Airport Gardermoen in about 1 hour 40 minutes.

Train

From Airport Oslo Gardemoen : the Flytoget Airport Express Train Express Train  departs every 10 minutes and takes 28 minutes from Airport Oslo Gardermoen to reach the National Theatre station, located within a 5-minute walk of the hotel. This station also serves both local and regional destinations, such as Bergen. 

From Airport Rygge: the Trian R20 departs once every hour to Oslo. A free shuttle bus will take you between the train station and the airport terminal.

Taxi

The travel time from the Oslo Gardemoen Airport is approximately 35 minutes by taxi. It is recommended you go to the taxi information desk located in the arrivals hall of the airport to book a taxi.

Getting Around in Oslo

Oslo offers convenient public transportation, and short distances make it easy to get around by walking or biking.

All the public transport in Oslo and the surrounding county Akershus is part of the same ticket and price system. This applies to buses, trams, subways (t-bane), ferries and local trains.

Remember, transport within zone 1 (Oslo) and zone 2 is free with the Oslo Pass.

Ruter - local bus, tram, metro, ferry

Ruter is the name of the public transport system in Oslo and the surrounding county, Akershus. City buses, regional buses, trams, subway/metro, ferries and local trains are included in Ruter's ticket system. Tickets can be purchased from any Ruter's sales points. Tickets cost NOK 20 more when purchased on board. To travel by subway/metro you must always pre-purchase a ticket. Information about discounts and special rates.

Norwegian State Railways

NSB is the national Norwegian railway company, and offers excellent train services in Norway and between Oslo and Gothenburg.
