Do you have governance
experience and you’re ready to take it to the next level?
This online workshop series will further develop, test, and enhance your established governance practices with other philanthropic and grantmaking governors.
You’ll dive into topics such as:
- Specific features for governing in philanthropy
- Governing for impact
- Understanding the framework of effective governance for philanthropic and grantmaking trusts
- Board dynamics
- Best practices for chairing and supporting the chair
Join us for these practical online workshops. The series is designed for participants to attend all three workshops in order to receive full benefit.
Each workshop will be a combination of:
- Imparting knowledge (facilitators and participants)
- Opportunities for participants to ask questions about aspects of best practice,
- Discuss experiences in the application of best practice
- Opportunities for participants to be challenged and examine aspects of their own practice
This workshop series has been developed in partnership with the Centre for Social Impact , and its experienced governance trainers.
Criteria: Held a trustee/governor role for over two years
Times: 4pm – 6pm
Dates: Wednesday 1st September, Wednesday 15th September and Wednesday 29th September.
Fees:
PNZ member: $500 + GST per person.
PNZ non-member: $650 + GST per person
