Hill Day gives you the opportunity to meet with members of Congress and their staff, share stories and data from your community, and demonstrate the impact your organization has on the older adults they serve.
Together, we can help policymakers understand the important work happening every day in communities across the country.
Interested in participating? Sign up for Hill Day when you register for Age+Action 2027. There is no additional cost to participate, but you will need to arrive before the start of the conference to take part.

Everything You Need to Succeed
We’ll help you feel prepared and confident before you head to Capitol Hill.
NCOA provides participants with training, meeting coordination, resources, and transportation so you can focus on sharing your organization’s story and advocating for the older adults you serve.
Training
Before Hill Day, NCOA will offer virtual training to help you prepare. You’ll learn what to expect, get tips for successful congressional meetings, and explore ways to use stories and examples to communicate the impact of your work.
Meeting Scheduling
You don’t have to coordinate congressional meetings on your own. NCOA will work with Advocacy Associates to contact congressional offices and arrange meetings on behalf of Hill Day participants.
Hill Day Mobile App
Before Hill Day, participants will receive access to a free mobile app with their meeting schedules and real-time updates. The app will also include helpful resources such as Capitol Hill maps, transportation information, and tools for coordinating with other participants.
Pre-Hill Day Rally
We’ll gather at the conference hotel before heading to Capitol Hill. Participants will receive their materials and meeting information, get last-minute assistance, and connect with fellow aging advocates.
Transportation
Transportation from the conference hotel to Capitol Hill and back will be provided for Hill Day participants. Additional transportation and schedule details will be shared as Hill Day approaches.
Plan Your Travel
Hill Day takes place before the start of Age+Action, so participants will need to arrive early.
To participate in Hill Day 2027, please plan to arrive early.
Hill Day will begin with a rally at the conference hotel. Participants are encouraged to arrive early to pick up materials and get any last-minute assistance they need.
