House of Delegates

MNA Delegates attend MNA’s annual Convention to vote on Bylaws Amendments, Resolutions, and Main Motions regarding MNA’s organizational goals and priorities.  

 

Entertainment

Delegates can also enjoy various entertainment in the evenings. Depending on the location and schedule, we’ve offered live music, karaoke, comedians, and BINGO. There is also an Honors & Awards dinner on Sunday night to celebrate MNA’s diverse award and scholarship recipients.

 

Speakers

Over the years, MNA has invited several speakers, including other union officials, local and state legislators, and keynote speakers who are there to educate or entertain or both!

 

Silent Auction

The silent Auction runs throughout the convention, with all proceeds going to the MNA Disaster Relief Fund. Members and bargaining units are invited to donate items, such as themed baskets, handmade items, artwork, gift certificates, nursing-related items, and more.

 

How to Become a Delegate

 

If you are not yet a Delegate and want to attend Convention as one (voting, speaking, and reimbursement credentials), please complete the Consent to Serve Form Here: Consent to Serve as a Delegate to the MNA House of Delegates

Note: Once the form is submitted, it has to be manually processed and then the information is entered into the Registration system. This can take 1-2 business days. Following that, you will receive an email with the link to register for Convention.
