Salute to Service - Coming Home: The Vietnam War Sponsorship Opportunities

Please support this celebration to allow Vietnam veterans find comfort, validation, and camaraderie at the Virginia War Memorial. Speakers, musical performances, exhibit panels, and other events will provide rich context and a broad perspective of what Virginia veterans experienced in the Vietnam War. A wreath-laying ceremony and free time on the Memorial’s grounds will allow veterans to remember and honor those who did not return. Their shared history, and the public’s understanding of Vietnam will be enhanced through individual oral histories, photographs, and artifacts.

With your help, we can realize our vision that a global audience will recognize the valor and sacrifice of Virginia’s military veterans in the pursuit of liberty,
democracy, justice and peace for all.

Our goal is to raise $100,000 to host this Reunion Celebration, and $40,000 to produce a traveling panel exhibition to promote awareness of Vietnam veterans
across the state.

Our Vietnam veterans deserve nothing less.
