Since the onset of this pandemic CSFC has pivoted quickly to bring together fire service leaders for education and networking from the safety of their homes and departments. We had hoped to be able to come together in Keystone this fall for Fire Leadership Challenge (FLC) but given current restrictions and the necessary safety precautions we’ve made the decision to transition to a robust and exclusive offering of online education.
Today we are excited to announce FLC will be offering the Officer Development Program for 2020 in a distance learning format. Participants can choose from one of three levels of the Officer Development certificate program. The education will meet the learning objectives required while focusing on important issues including COVID-19 response, diversity and inclusion, and mental health. FLC will be offering the following levels:
Company Officer (COLS II)
Chief Officer (CHIEF II)
Executive Chief Officer (ECO I)
No prerequisites are required and attendees are encouraged to choose the level that best fits their individual needs. Our team is experienced in delivering digital content and we promise not to bore you with hours of screen fatigue. We’re currently making updates to the schedule so that the online format delivers engaging content designed for interaction between attendees and presenters. Announcements regarding some exciting new Keynote presenters will be made over the next few weeks.
Whether you’ve participated in the past and you’re ready for the next level or you’re new to the Officer Development Program, the value is clear.
