Objectives

• Facilitate meaningful connections among attendees.
• Help new members navigate the conference, maximize learning, and feel included.
• Encourage experienced members to share insights, best practices, and tips about both the NDA and the conference.

How It Works

• Pairing: First-time attendees can request a “Buddy” (experienced attendee) at the end of the conference registration page.
• Matching: The NDA will match participants based on practice area where possible.
• Introduction: Buddies and Mentees will be introduced via email before the conference.
• Meet & Greet: A dedicated Buddy Program Meet & Greet session will be held on the first day of the conference in Chicago, offering time for pairs to connect in person (TBD).
• Check-ins: Buddies are encouraged to check in with their Mentees at least once per day and invite them to networking events or group activities.

Mentee Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to your Buddy’s communications.
• Come prepared with questions or topics of interest.
• Attend the Meet & Greet and make the most of networking opportunities.
• Share your feedback on the program for future improvements.
