CHS Facility Tour | Myrtle Grove

Tuesday, September 22 | 7:00 - 10:0 AM

Long-time Women in Agribusiness supporter CHS is hosting a facility tour at its Myrtle Grove, LA, grain terminal. Newly renovated and expanded in 2024, the terminal can safely move 30% more grain, helping U.S. agriculture meet global demand for high-quality products, including corn, soybeans, wheat, soybean meal and DDGS.

The Myrtle Grove facility is part of a global network of terminals owned by CHS and plays a critical role in moving more than 2 billion bushels of U.S. grain annually through river, rail and export channels. More than 200 ocean-going vessels are loaded at Myrtle Grove each year.

As part of the 2024 expansion, Myrtle Grove features the first permanent E-Crane dedicated exclusively to grain exports in the U.S. This electric-powered crane improves efficiency while reducing energy costs.

Attendees must travel on bus transportation provided by WIA. No exceptions. Additional registration of $40 per person. Close-toed shoes required for tour.
