LEAD Management symposium 2026

The Lead Management Symposium is Canada’s national meeting dedicated to advancing the science and practice of cardiac lead and cardiac electronic implanted devices management. Now in its 11th year (2026), the Symposium continues to bring together a focused community of electrophysiologists, cardiologists, cardiac surgeons, allied health professionals, fellows and industry partners who share a commitment to improving outcomes for patients with cardiac implantable electronic devices.

With a smaller, highly engaged group of 50–100 participants, the Symposium fosters meaningful dialogue and in-depth discussion—ensuring that interaction, collaboration, and shared learning remain central to the experience. Through case-based discussions, expert presentations, and dynamic panels, the program explores the latest evidence, techniques, and technologies in lead extraction and management.

The Symposium’s objectives are to:

  • Deliver up-to-date, accredited education in lead and device management and extraction.

  • Encourage open exchange of real-world experiences and solutions to complex cases.

  • Strengthen collaboration among Canadian centers and clinicians involved in device therapy.

  • Support the next generation of providers through practical learning and professional networking.

This uniquely collegial and interactive setting provides an unparalleled opportunity to advance clinical expertise, share best practices, and shape the future of lead management in Canada and beyond.
