ATSNJ is excited to continue our partnership with the Pennsylvania Athletic Trainers’ Society by exchanging speakers for our annual Conference & Business Meetings. This year, we welcome Dr. Dan Baer (l) and Jason Kopec (r), MS, ATC, from West Chester University!

Dr. Baer brings over 15 years of collegiate sports medicine experience and leads clinical education at WCU. As the football team’s athletic trainer and Clinical Education Coordinator, he champions evidence-based care and research in concussion reporting, teaching practices, and equity in athletic training access.

Jason Kopec draws on a championship career in professional baseball and arena football—including roles with the Philadelphia Soul and Camden Riversharks. Now at WCU, he mentors the next generation of athletic trainers and drives excellence in sports medicine education and athlete performance.
