A longtime TV actor, Jed Allan became one of the central actors as the fifth and final recast of Santa Barbara’s patriarch, CC Capwell. Imbuing the central character with a compelling balance of strength, humor and compassion, it was clear as soon as Jed took over the role in 1986 that the show had finally found its perfect CC. Jed was also known for his longtime role as Don Craig on Days of Our Lives and recurring roles on General Hospital and Beverly Hills 90210.

In 2011, Jed returned to acting with guest starring role on the Emmy Award-winning web series The Bay, where he reunited with former Santa Barbara co-stars A Martinez, Lane Davies, Nicolas Coster, and Judith McConnell.

Sadly, Jed passed away on March 9, 2019, eight days after his 84th birthday. The Santa Barbara Reunion Cruise will feature a special tribute to Jed.
