General Information


Code of Conduct:

Our conference is dedicated to providing a harassment-free conference experience for everyone, regardless of gender identity and expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, or religion (or lack thereof). We do not tolerate harassment of conference participants in any form. Sexual language and imagery are not appropriate for any conference venue, including talks, workshops, parties, Facebook and other online media. The Meetings Summit is a business event and appropriate behavior is required (e.g., responsible alcohol consumption). Conference participants violating these rules may be sanctioned or expelled from the conference without a refund at the discretion of the conference organizers.

Attire

 

  • Day-time Functions: Business casual attire; Meeting room temperatures vary – consider bringing a wrap, sweater, or clothing with sleeves.
  • Evening Event Attire:
    • Welcome Reception: Business casual / Resort dress
    • Tuesday Offsite Reception/Dinner & Afterglow: Business or Resort Dress; Coats and comfortable shoes recommended. Coat check will be available at venues.
  • Wellness & Pre/Post Event Tours:
    • Comfortable shoes and business casual or casual clothing suggested.
    • Wednesday Walking Tour: Walk will be done outdoors - comfortable shoes and business casual or casual clothing suggested.

Weather

Average temperatures for January in New Orleans are highs in the low 60s (°F) and lows in the mid 40s (°F). 

Food and Beverage

All planned meals will be hosted. You will have the opportunity to communicate any special dietary needs during the registration process.

Guest Policy

Guests are not invited to attend the meeting.

Mobile App:

Download the Meeting Summit event mobile app for the most up-to-date information on the event, speakers, agenda, attendees, and more. An email with a link will be sent to all registered attendees when it becomes available, approximately two weeks prior to the event.

Please note: The Meeting Summit is a paperless event. No printed agendas will be available onsite. Thank you for supporting our sustainability initiatives.

Chat Bot:

Prior to arriving at The Meeting Summit, you will receive an SMS text message from Brianna, our Chat Bot. We encourage you to engage with Brianna to receive customized messages (Table assignments for dinner, activity reminders, etc.) and as your personal concierge to answer any questions you might have about the event. The Chat Bot will be available approximately one week prior to the event.
