Policies & Guidelines

Terms and Conditions

 

Registration and attendance at, or participation in the IASIU Conference constitutes an agreement by the registrant to IASIU’s use and distribution of the registrant’s image or voice in photographs, videotapes, electronic reproductions and audiotapes. By registering for the IASIU Conference as a non-member, you are entitled to attend sessions and conference events. However, please be advised that it is IASIU policy that marketing and promotion of products or services is granted only to IASIU and its registered exhibitors and sponsors. Non-member attendees who are not registered exhibitors or sponsors are strictly prohibited from marketing or promoting their company's products and services to any attendee during conference hours. Any attendee found to be violating this policy is subject to revocation of conference credentials and will not be allowed to attend any conference events or programs. Such violators will not be entitled to a refund of registration fees in whole or in part.

Cancellation Policy

 

Full refunds, minus a $100 administrative charge, will be given if a written cancellation is received by April 30, 2026; full refund minus $200 administrative charge, will be given if a written cancellation is received by July 17, 2026; no refunds will be given after July 17, 2026. Notice of cancellation must be emailed to info@iasiu.org. No-shows will not receive a refund.

Registration Substitutions:
Attendees may transfer their registration to another colleague within their organization. Requests must be made in writing prior to August 21, 2026 and emailed to info@iasiu.org.  No substitutions will be allowed onsite or at sold out Conferences.

Medical Cancellations:
Cancellations for medical reasons require a physician’s note and must be provided by July 17, 2026.

No refund shall be issued for a medical cancellation without proper documentation and notice by July 17, 2026.  Notice must be emailed to info@iasiu.org and refunds will not be provided absent full compliance set forth above.  NOTE: No refunds, for any reason, with or without a Dr. Note, will be provided past July 17, 2026.

Important Scam Alert

Please be vigilant if dealing with any companies or services other than IASIU, Capitol Hill Management Services or the Rosen Shingle Creek hotel claiming an affiliation with the IASIU Annual Conference. IASIU will never sell attendee data. Hotel reservations made through any other agency are at your own risk. If you are contacted by a housing company attempting to sell hotel rooms or attendee lists, please notify Show Management at iasiuinfo@iasiu.org .

IASIU Code of Conduct

 

IASIU is committed to providing a safe and welcoming environment for all meeting and event participants. All participants including, but not limited to, attendees, speakers, volunteers, exhibitors, staff, and service providers, are expected to abide by this Code of Conduct. This Code applies to all IASIU sponsored events.

Expectations

  • Treat others with respect, inclusivity, and consideration.
  • Communicate respectfully, avoiding personal attacks.
  • Be mindful of your surroundings and of others. Alert an IASIU Board Member or IASIU staff if you notice any discriminatory, harassing, aggressive, or exclusionary behavior or speech as soon as possible.
  • Respect & follow the rules and policies of the meeting venue, hotel, online forum, website, meeting provider, or any other associated venue.
  • IASIU has a zero-tolerance policy for harassment or discrimination of any kind.
  • Physical or verbal abuse or discriminatory behavior of any attendee, speaker, volunteer, exhibitor, staff, service provider, or other meeting guests will not be tolerated.

Consequences of Unacceptable Behavior

Anyone requested to stop unacceptable behavior by IASIU is expected to comply immediately. IASIU reserves the right to take any action it deems necessary and appropriate in its sole discretion, including expulsion from the event without warning or refund; exclusion from future events; and other consequences it shall deem appropriate.

Reporting Unacceptable Behavior

If you are the subject or victim of unacceptable behavior or have witnessed any such behavior, please notify an IASIU Board Member or IASIU staff member immediately.

Please note: IASIU reserves the right to modify or revise this Code of Conduct at any time with or without notice.

IASIU Code of Ethics

 

Preamble

IASIU is dedicated to the thorough investigation of insurance claims consistent with the highest standards of ethical and legal conduct. IASIU adopts the following Code of Ethics. Our members agree to observe this Code as a condition of their membership and affiliation with IASIU.

Violations to IASIU’s Code of Ethics should be reported by submission of a formal complaint to ethics@iasiu.org

Code of Ethics

  1. Members will, at all times, act with integrity, trustworthiness and honesty, modeling the professional behavior exemplary of our organization.
  2. Members will diligently and competently assume and perform their professional responsibilities.
  3. Members will respect the sensitive nature of any confidential or proprietary information made known or available to them, consistent with the law. Members will also exercise the care required to prevent the unlawful or improper disclosure of such information.
  4. Members will take the appropriate care to protect or maintain the reputation and professional practice of a colleague, employer, insured, claimant or other subject of an investigation.
  5. Members will demonstrate the requisite courage and responsibility in their decision making when faced with potential conflicts of interest.
  6. Members will perform their duties and, at all times, conduct themselves in accordance with the law.
  7. Members will, at all times, be aware of and adhere to the principles of appropriate antitrust laws.
  8. One of the hallmarks of IASIU is its belief in diversity, equity, and inclusion. Members will respect and adhere to the principles of diversity, equity and inclusion.
