Reston, VA

Welcome to SAIL 2025

The annual Summit for AI Institutes Leadership (SAIL) fosters significant interactions, discussions, and connections among the AI Institutes’ researchers and staff. All institute collaborators will benefit by bringing key leadership at primary and sub-awardee sites and providing opportunities to showcase their research, make connections, ask questions, and share best practices and concerns.

The 29 AI institutes, primarily funded by the NSF and USDA-NIFA, carry out a broad spectrum of research in critically important areas of US competitiveness, ranging from food security, public safety, education, weather, and myriad other targets.

The SAIL conference is organized by the NSF AI Institutes Virtual Organization (NSF AIVO).
