CALL FOR ABSTRACTS

The CPS Annual Conference 2026 is inviting abstract submissions for consideration under three different calls: Call for Research Abstracts, Call for Resident Advocacy Projects, and Call for Clinical Case Reports. 

Submissions from CPS members and non-members are welcome, and participation is open to health professionals in any field (excluding abstracts submitted by pharmaceutical companies with employees as principal authors and/or co-authors). All abstracts must be submitted online via the appropriate submission site. Accepted abstracts will be eligible for poster display at the annual conference.

Call for Research Abstracts
The process for submitting a scientific abstract electronically is now closed
 

This call is for scientific, clinical and quality improvement abstract submissions with final results.  All abstracts accepted for presentation will be published in the Fall 2026 supplement of Paediatrics & Child Health. 

Submissions undergo a blind evaluation by an Abstract Review Committee comprised of experts with wide ranging interests in general and subspecialty paediatrics. Abstracts are judged on research quality, scientific merit and relevance.

A schedule of all abstract presentations will be finalized in March 2026. Poster numbers will be announced in April 2026.
