Interested in an immersive week of learning, mentorship, networking, and industry tours?

Apply now to attend the 2026 MHTI, sponsored by College-Industry Council on Material Handling Education (CICMHE), and generously funded by MHI.

Who Should Attend?

Faculty members and doctoral students - at any stage - who are or will soon be teaching courses in the fields listed above.

This fully in-person experience is designed to strengthen teaching skills and build lasting connections within the academic and industry communities.

  • Small-group mentoring with field experts
  • Facility and plant tours
  • Interactive teaching and learning modules
  • Evening social and networking events
  • Opportunities to share course content, tools, and case studies

Costs Covered:

Thanks to MHI's support, the following onsite expenses will be fully covered:

  • Hotel accommodations for up to 3 nights for domestic attendees and 4 nights for international attendees. 
  • Round-trip transportation via shuttle service from Atlanta International Airport.
  • Meals during the program
  • Transportation to all off-site event activities. 
  • Sponsored tours and social events. 

Please note that participants are responsible for their own airfare. This event is designed exclusively for registered attendees, and guest registration options will not be available for social and evening functions.  

Participant Requirements:

  • Arrive by 6:00 PM on Tuesday, July 26
  • Depart after sessions conclude on the afternoon of Friday, July 31
  • Full participation is required - late arrivals or early departures are not permitted
  • International applicants are welcome
