Kevin Chan, OD, MS, FAAO, IACMM

 

Dr. Kevin Chan serves as the new Medical Co-Editor of the Review of Myopia Management. He is the Senior Clinical Director of Treehouse Eyes. He currently serves in the Communications Committee in the American Academy of Optometry (AAO) and the Education Committee as a Co-Chair in the Maryland Optometric Association (MOA). He was a Professional Affairs Consultant for Johnson & Johnson Vision and Essilor’s Myopia Taskforce. Dr. Chan graduated with a dual OD and MS degrees (Vision Science) from the New England College of Optometry. He received the prestigious Global Specialty Lens Symposium (GSLS) ‘Rising Star’ award in 2024. He was also named a Healio honoree in 2023 and earned the distinction of the International Academy Certification in Myopia Management (IACMM). He was a graduate of the Leadership Institute at the American Optometric Association (AOA).
Dr. Chan frequently lectures nationally and internationally on contact lenses and myopia management. Notably, Dr. Chan has been selected as a subject matter expert to present a renowned TEDx talk, ‘Myopia- Global Epidemic.’ He has served as a panel representative in the U.S. in the inaugural Ophthalmology Innovation Summit (OIS)- Myopia Showcase. Dr. Chan has authored numerous articles on myopia management, cornea, contact lens and business management topics. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry.

Ashley Tucker, OD, FAAO, FSLS, ABO Diplomate

 

Dr. Ashley Tucker graduated from the University of Houston College of Optometry where she also completed a Cornea and Contact Lens Residency. Dr. Tucker is a partner at Bellaire Family Eye Care and The Contact Lens Institute of Houston and is also Adjunct Faculty at the University of Houston College of Optometry. Dr. Tucker spends the majority of her clinic time managing patients who are in need of myopia management and specialty contact lenses. In addition, Dr. Tucker is the secretary for the Contact Lens and Cornea section of the AOA, secretary for the Scleral Lens Education Society, and is a member of the advisory board for GPLI. Most recently she was named a Global Ambassador for Myopia Management by the World Council of Optometry. Dr. Tucker regularly lectures both nationally and internationally on myopia management and specialty contact lenses.

Sheila Morrison, OD, MSc, FSLS, FAAO

 

Dr. Sheila Morrison grew up in Alberta, Canada, and is a private practice clinician and educator. She earned her Doctorate of Optometry and Masters Degree in Vision Science, along with a Residency in Cornea and Contact Lens from Pacific University College of Optometry. 


After serving on faculty at the University of Houston College of Optometry as a full-time clinical professor, Dr. Morrison joined Mission Eye Care (Calgary, AB, Canada) where she is a residency supervisor of the Mission Eye Care Residency in Cornea and Contact Lens and also adjunct faculty at NSU Oklahoma College of Optometry. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry, the Scleral Lens Education Society, Canadian College of Specialties in Optometry and an awarded member of the International Society of Contact Lens Specialists.
