Dig Safe Fund Application

The Dig Safe Fund has been established to support attendance at the CCGA Damage Prevention Symposium for individuals who may otherwise be unable to participate due to financial constraints—specifically, excavators, contractors, and nonprofit affiliates.

By reducing financial barriers, the Fund aims to create a more diverse and representative audience, strengthening the quality of discussion and broadening the range of perspectives within the Symposium.

As a new initiative, the Dig Safe Fund focuses on enabling greater participation across the damage prevention industry. The CCGA invites all stakeholders within Canada’s excavating community—including organizations, affiliates, and industry associations—to contribute to this effort.

Our goal is to increase participation from excavators and contractors and ensure their voices are well represented in industry conversations.

We consistently hear that cost is the primary barrier for smaller or local contractors. While many are able to commit the time, the financial burden of attending can be prohibitive.

To address this, we are offering financial support through the Dig Safe Fund. Applications are now open for eligible participants, and we are actively seeking contributions to expand the reach and impact of this program.
