LEARNING OBJECTIVES

This conference will support the learners’ abilities to:

  • Identify emerging therapeutics in cellular and immune based therapy and apply them in the care of cancer patients
  • Utilize evidence-based clinical pathways to guide the management of localized and advanced malignancies based on genomic alterations
  • Use strategies to integrate innovative cancer care delivery models into their clinical practice
  • Improve long-term patient outcomes by implementing practices designed to achieve end-to-end cancer care excellence

ACCREDITATION STATEMENT

The Kaiser Permanente National CME Program is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

CREDIT DESIGNATION STATEMENT

The Kaiser Permanente National CME Program designates this Live activity for a maximum of 12.75 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™.  Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

MAINTENANCE OF CERTIFICATION

Successful completion of this CME activity, which includes participation in the evaluation component, enables the participant to earn up to: 

  • 12.75 MOC points in the American Board of Internal Medicine's (ABIM) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program; and 
  • 12.75 MOC credit toward their required annual part II self-assessment credit in the American Board of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery’s Continuing Certification program (formerly known as MOC); and 
  • 12.75 MOC Lifelong Learning (CME) credit in the American Board of Pathology’s Continuing Certification program; and 
  • 12.75 MOC points in the American Board of Pediatrics’ (ABP) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program; and 
  • 12.75 MOC credits towards the CME and Self-Assessment requirement(s) of the American Board of Surgery’s Continuous Certification program; and 
  • 12.75 MOC credits toward the CME and Self-Assessment requirements of the American Board of Thoracic Surgery’s Maintenance of Certification program.

It is the CME activity provider's responsibility to submit participant completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABIM, ABOHNS, ABPath, ABP, ABS, and ABTS MOC credit.

Non-Physician Participants: Attendees can report up to 12.75 hours of participation towards their accrediting body (licensure). In lieu of the provider number Attendees can write ‘CME’ in the space provided, if applicable.

All physicians and other practicing clinicians, scientists, leadership, administrators, and others involved in the care delivery and cancer research for patients with cancer from across the Kaiser Permanente national regions.
