The Alpine Grand Tour will replace the Grand Tour in the month of July to escape heavy vacation traffic in Tuscany.
The tour will share the same curriculum as our regular Grand Tour including the trip to Modena. From here we will alternate the route and head to the Veneto region and into the Dolomites, the most beautiful mountain range in Europe and another unforgettable UNESCO site.
The Alpine Grand Tour is the perfect way to delight in the majestic beauty of the Dolomites through verdant valleys, stunning mountain passes and crystal lakes, all of which stage the spirit and excellence of the Canossa Grand Tours.
Each Canossa Grand Tours starts on Saturday with your arrival at Milan Malpensa Airport (MXP), where our Chauffeur will await you and will escort you to the Bulgari Hotel, a five star hotel and icon of exquisite Italian hospitality.
On Sunday, after a rejuvenating night of rest and a proper Italian espresso we will head to Parma, the “City of Gastronomy”, then to Modena, home to Ferrari and Maserati.
Monday will be dedicated to the “Motor Valley”, stretching for less than 40 miles around Modena, the Italian cradle of motorsports and the automobile altogether.
On Tuesday, will we drive towards the Dolomites. Each day on the Dolomites will be focused on the pleasure of driving through breathtaking roads. In the morning we will depart from one of the best hotels in the Dolomites, the Hotel Cristallo Resort & Spa of Cortina d’Ampezzo, named the “Queen of the Dolomites”, a typical lunch in refuges surrounded by beautiful sceneries will follow. The afternoon will be dedicated to private visits, together with some time to relax and shop in the luxury boutiques of Cortina d’Ampezzo. You will be afterwards taken to dinner with our shuttle service and enjoy the excellent cuisine of the best Michelin-starred restaurants.
On Friday we will return to Milan for the last night and the farewell dinner. On the 8th day we will take you to the airport with some great memories to bring home with you.
Participation Fee
The price in US Dollars is per person for a crew of two people sharing a double/twin room and includes all accommodation in selected 5-star hotels, meals, wines, visits, fuel, road tolls, luggage transportation, all taxes and any other activity included in the program. Except for your flight, you won’t have to worry about any costs!
We offer additional supplements, subject to availability.
You can request them during the registration process at the time of booking, or up to 2 weeks prior to the tour (subject to availability):
- Car with automatic transmission
- Room upgrade to Suite / Junior Suite
- Second junior between 11 and 17 years 50% discount of the adult fee (first junior is welcome free of charge, as well as one or two children up to 10 and under)
