Neuroradiology

Program Objectives

  • Discuss radiologic-pathologic correlation in the diagnosis of CNS tumors and infections.
  • Identify classic anatomy and pathologies of the sinonasal cavity and of the temporal bone.
  • Recognize common neuroimaging artifacts and fix them using principles of imaging physics.

Cardiothoracic

Program Objectives

At the conclusion of this course, you will be able to:

  • Explain the importance of effective communication with pathologists in the diagnosis of lesions.
  • Identify imaging characteristics of lesions involving the chest and cardiovascular system.
  • Illustrate how the underlying pathology of the lesion contributes to its imaging characteristics.
  • Describe chest diseases in which radiologic imaging is key for accurate diagnosis.

Musculoskeletal

Course Overview

Boost your musculoskeletal imaging expertise with our comprehensive course. Perfect for radiologists looking to expand their skills, this program is designed for those new to MSK imaging or interested in incorporating it into their practice. Join us to confidently enhance your capabilities in MSK imaging.

The course covers the vast majority of musculoskeletal diseases including trauma, neoplasm, infection, arthritis and internal derangement, metabolic, systemic and congenital abnormalities. A systematic “pattern approach” to differential diagnosis will also be emphasized.

Instruction will be provided by nationally and internationally recognized faculty who will emphasize radiologic-pathologic correlation to enhance your understanding of musculoskeletal disease.

At the conclusion of this course, you will be able to:

  • Identify the most common musculoskeletal lesions.
  • Describe the best imaging modality for a variety of musculoskeletal lesions.
  • Identify the tools and strategies that can be implemented to facilitate radiology-pathology communication and correlation.
  • Describe those diseases of the musculoskeletal system in which radiologic imaging is key for accurate diagnosis.
